5. Payments
By credit cards :
VISA and MasterCards are accepted.
For security purposes, all payments made with a credit card must be accompanied by our Credit Card Authorization form duly completed, that needs to be faxed to our office at +41 44 586 50 38, along with a photocopy of a valid ID for the credit card’s owner (passport, driver license ...) and a photocopy of the both sides of the credit card. Failing to provide these documents will prevent us from charging your credit card.
Your credit card will be charged in EURO using the daily exchange rate provided by our bank at the time of the transaction. Tahiti-Travel will not endorse nor be held responsible for all other fees and/or commissions charged by your bank and/or credit card company. Please contact them for more information regarding this issue prior to making payment.

6. Modifications of a confirmed reservation
In case of additional services, all modifications to a confirmed itinerary will be made at no extra cost other than the prices of these additional services.
In all other cases (reduction of the stay length, number of persons or itinerary changes), the cancellation general policy described below will apply.
Once international plane e-tickets are issued, all modification is subject to a 100 EUR fee per ticket.
7. Cancellation / Refunds
General policy
More than 30 days prior to arrival at Tahiti : Full refund of all payments received except for a flat fee of 50 USD per file
(additionnal charges may apply if international plane tickets are issued).
Between 15 and 30 days : 60% refund
Less than 15 days : No refund.
If your reservation includes a cruise, special cancellation conditions apply. These special conditions will be notified to you at the time of your reservation.
All requests for cancellation must be submitted in written by email ( info@tahiti-travel.org ). A confirmation email will be sent to you within 2 business days. If you do not receive this email from our office within this period, please call our office immediately at +41 44 586 50 38.
Once travel has begun, any cancellation or changes to the itinerary are at the traveler’s own expense. In that case, any additional fees charged by airlines, hotels, or other service provider that may occur will be at the traveler’s own expense.
Tahiti-Travel does provide travel insurance. Please ask our staff for more information.
8. Passenger responsibility
All travelers are required to carry a valid passport with an expiration date of at least 6 months after the scheduled returning date.
Non US citizens may need a VISA to transit in the USA. Please, check http://travel.state.gov/ before departure.
Tahiti-Travel nor the air carrier can be held responsible for costs, expenses, or damages actual or consequential, resulting from the failure to obtain a valid passport and/or visa as required by the law, or for the refusal of authorities to admit the passenger to the French Polynesia territory for any reason whatsoever.
Tahiti-Travel nor the air carrier can be held responsible for missed international departure flight due to passenger failure to show on time at the airport.
10. Limitation of Tahiti-Travel responsibility
Tahiti-Travel and its suppliers will not be held responsible for any damage, delay or irregularity, expense or liability arising from sickness, theft, labor disputes, machinery breakdown, quarantine, government restraints, war, weather conditions, nor for any additional expenses or damages due to changes in advertised schedules or services, or any cause beyond their control.
12. Protection of funds
All customer deposits are secured in a Trust Account provided by Swiss Travel Association (www.star.ch)
13. Resolution of disputes
Any controversy or claim related to a Tahiti-Travel tour shall be resolved by the Court of Schaffhausen – Switzerland.
